I have listened the residents of North Delta complain about truck traffic for 20 years.
Did they not think widening the existing River Road, or portions thereof, was an option?
I also hear that trucks are “hazard” on our streets.
Check out ICBC’s website that lists accident by vehicle type and at fault.
Most truck-involved accidents are 85 per cent the other vehicle’s fault.
If trucks are so dangerous to drive near, I say stay off the South Fraser Perimeter Road if you drive anything but a heavy truck and stay out of our way.
Trucking is the backbone of any community.
Check the stock in any store and guess how it arrived.
