I trust this year the city will have the sound turned down on the Friday and Saturday night concerts in Community Park and/or turn the speakers away from Parksville residents towards the ocean so that we too can enjoy weekend nights sitting outside our homes.
We would be very appreciative if you could do this. We are not asking you to stop the concerts, just turn down the volume. We would enjoy going to the park to listen there, not at our homes. We would like the choice — last year you gave us no choice. We are not talking about Canada Day.
What are your thoughts on this? We all try to be good citizens and respect each other as well as encourage responsible tourism.
