Editor: Do we need to double up on city halls, one for the district and one for the city, plus all the staff required?
All this waste of money could go toward better transit. My wife and I were in San Diego, California last year and discovered a great light rail system that runs from the northern suburbs through downtown and all the way to the Mexican border.
This is what we need from Chilliwack to downtown Vancouver, and most likely it could be build at a fraction of the cost of SkyTrain. I could go on, but I will leave it at that for now.
