Use natural predators to stop invasive species

The problem with fire ants in North America is that their natural predators are not here.

I know the problem with fire ants in North America is that their natural predators are not here.

If you want to get rid of a foreign species you can try getting chickens. They will eat anything that moves naturally, so don’t feed them but make sure they have lots of water.

If there is a toxin in the ants that builds up and kills or harms the chickens, you may have to change them out with replacements until they get cleaned out naturally.

Chickens are worth a try as introducing a species that does not belong in the environment may lead to other problems.
