I suspect that Neil Horner must already regret the tone and substance of his letter (The NEWS, April 7) challenging the relevance of the editorial by John Harding defending a “washed up American baseball player.”
The bitter and personal nature of Horner’s remarks leads me to believe they must relate more to issues stemming from his previous employment as a journalist with The NEWS rather than the pertinence of the topic of the editorial.
My concern as a resident who voted for Horner in last November’s municipal election is that he will display the same vindictive and irrational behaviour in making decisions on council.
