If you think MSP on your bank statement stands for Medical Services Plan you might want to check where the money is going.
My bank informed me that anyone who has a direct debit on your account can use the letters MSP alone, along with the amount, no other information required. When alerted to this I asked the bank what the MSP charge is that has been on my account for some time. Without hesitation they informed me it was from a gym, not Medical Services Plan. Bank records show I joined this gym in July, 2012 and canceled Sept., 2012. The gym however did not cancel but continued it as an MSP deduction, $1,100 has been siphoned out of my account so please check your bank statement especially if you have been a gym member. If you want to cancel your membership go to your bank and cancel the debit.
