Has anyone noticed that during this extended dry spell that there’s been no talk of running out of water by the city of Abbotsford?
In fact, in today’s paper I read we have broken a dry-spell record! After the fear-mongering that went on not so long ago regarding the possibility of running out of water, and the proposal of a new water source costing us millions of dollars, we’ve not heard one word about running out of water since the city started taxing us per use.
Now that they are clearly making a profit off us, one might propose that the city would, in fact, like us to use more water! So much for conservation!
Perhaps there never was a water crisis in the first place, hmmmm?
