I read the letter, Water is a vital resource.
Normally, I’d have to agree with everything written but I work in the BX where I’ve seen farmers using big, industrial-type sprinklers to spray thousands of gallons of water on horse and cow pastures.
At one location alone, there were 12 of these things running constantly, day and night for three days.
Is this the highest and best use of this precious commodity? I wonder.
