Please excuse the tardiness for not sending a letter of appreciation sooner.
On Sept. 17 we asked for volunteers to help plant trees and shrubs at Vavenby Community Park.
The following people should be thanked by everyone for all their hard work and success with planting: Charlene Tobin, Tina Tobin, Christine Fillion, Len Greffard, Jeff Lamont, Jack Schaffer, Ron Cederholm, Lorne Yoerger, Danny King, Shelagh Howell, and Wilf, Shannon Boyes and Amelia, George Mattenley, Joe Schulte, Wayne Wilson, Rolf Schuchardt (for use of his backhoe) and Sherri Madden. And last but not least Linda King for organizing the lunch. I apologize to anyone I missed.
On another note, regarding the water testing done on the Vavenby water system, if anyone is interested in the results, they are at Vavenby Post Office for perusal.
I would like to wish everyone throughout the region a very Merry Christmas and hope you have a fantastic New Year.
