WEST SHORE LETTERS: Colwood should think twice before locating sewage plant

Colwood has other ready made holes in the ground for sewage plant

Re: Treatment options clean and green for City of Colwood (Gazette, June 27)

Colwood residents should be careful when it comes to letting their council okay a sewer plant across the road from the seniors recreation building.

The council doesn’t have a very good track record when it comes to okaying big projects. Remember the hotel they okayed on Wale Road, or the commercial buildings with underground parking at Colwood Corners?

With regards to the sewage plant, they could put it in the big hole on Wale Road that was left when the company building there ran out of money. If that doesn’t work, they could put it in the big hole at Colwood Corners, with the company involved there gone bankrupt.
