What about future citizens?

B.C.’s heating sources may be gone for future generations

To the editor:

British Columbia has shivered through freezing cold snaps a couple of months ago.

Most of us heat our homes with electricity (from BC Hydro) or natural gas.

The B.C. Liberal government has messed up BC Hydro, loading it down with perilous debt. Hydro rates are going up significantly.

As if that weren’t bad enough, the government is now planning to export massive amounts of our precious natural gas.

How will future British Columbians heat their homes, when the natural gas is all gone, and BC Hydro is a bankrupted ruin?
