A hats off with flowers to the city of Nelson for moving towards upgrading the water and sewer systems due to the aging infrastructure.
However, it’s lemons and sour grapes for the lack of filling serious road and street potholes, on Anderson St, High St., Park St., Lakeside Dr. and many other street areas around the city. It would appear all the focus is on the underground pipe replacement and the repair of street potholes has been forgotten.
A photo was placed on the desk of the mayor of the city and the public work office but very little action has been demonstrated to date.
The Queen City gets a black eye from these street conditions from the very people we ant to revisit the city and leave tourist dollars here.
We need action not covering of the posterior.
