Volunteers are needed to read with children in Summerland elementary schools. The One to One children’s literacy program is part of Literacy Now in the South Okanagan-Similkameen. Volunteers will be asked to commit to an hour and a half one morning or afternoon per week, spending 30 minutes with each child from early February to early May. Minimum age for volunteers is 18.
