Editor: Like many residents of the Township of Langley, I have been following with some interest and curiosity the revelations of the Lidstone Report. What is crystal clear is that Mayor Rick Green not only misled the council and citizens of Langley, but lied until there was no one left to lie to.
What I am curious about however, and what is unclear to me, is why? No one goes to the sort of trouble he did in trying to acquire the information that he did, then tries to cover it up with such a labryinth of mistruth, without having some sort of serious agenda. I fear that if his slate is elected on Nov. 19 we well may find out the hard way exactly what that agenda is.
