Will 25 less deer really reduce crashes?

Vehicles hit vehicles, pedestrians, trees, bicycles and motorcycles. Shall we stop everything or just kill the deer?

The mayor’s concern about deer/motor vehicle collisions is pointless and without merit.

He is concerned about serious injuries but where is his concern when it comes to vehicle/vehicle collisions?

By killing 25 deer, does he assure us that there will be no more such collisions? After they kill all the deer will he assure us that as Oak Bay motorists we will never strike a deer in this community again? Illogical.

Vehicles hit vehicles, pedestrians, trees, bicycles and motorcycles. Shall we stop everything or just kill the deer?

Of all the letters received by council regarding deer incursions, how many were about cars?

Furthermore ICBC statistics state that deer/vehicle accidents in Victoria account for fewer than one per cent of all accidents.
