Woodstoves are a necessity for many

Just would like to say thank you to those folks who have written in letters in support of us keeping our woodstoves.

Just would like to say thank you to those folks who have written in letters in support of us keeping our woodstoves.

We heat our home by woodstove and have done so for over 10 years now. In that time, we have seen dozens of power outages.

The woodstove is the only reliable source of heating that we will always have.

Hydro is not cost effective or reliable. They will do anything in their “power” so that we are not self-reliant in anyway.

What happens to our seniors when the power goes out?

It is just ridiculous to even conceive of banning woodstoves.

A clean fire burning stove does not even come close to some of the carcinogens up in our atmosphere. Those with weakened immune systems and asthma should cast their gaze a little higher into the air and be very concerned about the geoengineering that is being done without our consent.

Our world is so full of rules, regulations, and bylaws now that we can’t even keep track anymore of what is going on.

Perhaps the CVRD and City of Duncan would like to pass some bylaws about the marijuana that blows over my yard and my children everyday. I certainly have some big concerns about that.
