Writing in pain

Wait for CT scan is painful

Two-and-a-half years ago, I had surgery on my left arm and they put in a titanium plate. This was done in Kamloops. I found out I have two screws not helping the plate when I had my arm X-rayed.

I’ve been waiting for a CT scan for eight months now.

The surgeon is ready to operate on my arm. Every time I go to the hospital or phone, they tell me I’m on the list but they won’t tell me the date I will get scan.

Each week, the pain in my arm is getting worse. The pain feels like it is throbbing up my arm. It is not life-threatening.

How long do I have to wait?
