Heat was on at the 108 Golf Resort's Men's Night on July 3

Marvin Declare made a nice chip shot at the beginning of the season - obviously the course is in great shape now. On July 3, he finished third in low net of the third flight during the 108 Golf Resort Men's Night.

It was a game of beat the heat for 62 Men’s Night golfers who played at 108 Golf Resort July 3.

The temperature crept above 30 C at its highest but it didn’t bother Bill Harris, Matt McNeil, John McNeil, Eric Ohlund, Dave Evans, Bill Graham and Jack Rausch who all potted deuces.

First-flight low-gross competition saw Vern Jeffry take the lead with 33, followed by Harris with 35, and Dave Robertson with 36

The low-net winner was M. McNeil with a 32 on a count back over J. McNeil, and Jim Laird was third with 33.

In the second flight, Rick Lunstead won the low gross with a 39 and Spence Henderson shot 40 for second. Ron Vandermay scored 41 for third.

Brian Coldwell won the low net with a 32, Merle Ross was second with a 34 on a count back over Greg Aiken.

The third flight saw Ron Kelly place first in low gross with a 43 and Al Kregosky was second with 44. Ron Tont scored 45 for third.

Low-net champ was Dave Wolczuk with 33 and Ken Waite scored a 34 for second. Marvin Declare was third at 36.

Long drives were bagged by David Robertson, Jim French and Declare. Closest-to-the-pin winners were Graham, Dan Hadden and Waite.
