Men’s Night golfers at the 108 Golf Resort got back into the swing of things May 4 with their first session of the season.
The nine-hole match saw Tony Morete take first-place low gross in the first flight, with Shane Wilkie second and Bill Harris third.
Low-net winner was Jason Laird, followed by Jim Zailo and Jeff Kendy.
Club captain Dean McNeil took the low gross win in the second flight, with Rick Lunstead and Phil Roux in second and third place respectively.
Dan Hadden won low net, with Bob Wieduwilt second and Rob Douglas third.
The third flight saw Brian Dirkson take first place in low gross competition, followed by Greg Messner and Laurie Miclash.
Low-net winner was Ken Waite, with Herman Dutchak and Bryant Hollins in second and third place respectively.
Men’s Night players get together each Wednesday with start times open throughout the day to accommodate both retirees and working people.
McNeil says he expects membership to reach close to 65 this year.
“With the new management at the 108, we’re expecting an increase in membership.”
