21 Valley athletes in Summer Games

The 2018 BC Summer Games kick off in less than a month, and 3,072 of B.C.'s best emerging high performance talents are ready to be part of this celebration of sport and community.

The 2018 BC Summer Games kick off in less than a month, and 3,072 of B.C.’s best emerging high performance talents are ready to be part of this celebration of sport and community.

The Comox Valley will be sending 21 athletes representing eight sports to compete July 19-22 in the Cowichan Valley:

•Track and field: Hugo Henkel, Kailey Horel, Chantal Morfitt, Victoria Porcher, Meghan Sheehan, Liam Potts and Ethan Tansky.

•Basketball: Myles Douglas, Ashlyn Smart and Emma Warren.

•Lacrosse: Jordan Vincent

•Sailing: Ally Howard and Anja Leikermoser.

•Soccer: Logan Williams, Olivia Jean, Sydney Sunderland and Abby Duncan.

•Swimming: Graham Tattrie and Jordan Raume.

•Triathlon: Jade Blouin-Comeau

•Volleyball: Gracie Walls
