420 shuttlecocks used in Campbell River Badminton Club annual tournament

The Campbell River Badminton Club (CRBC) hosted their annual badminton tournament this past weekend at the Sportsplex.

The Campbell River Badminton Club (CRBC) hosted their annual badminton tournament this past weekend at the Sportsplex.

Competitors ranged in age from 16 to 81 playing singles, doubles and mixed doubles in various categories. The number of matches played was 195 and 420 shuttlecocks were used. Players and guests enjoyed a wonderful Saturday evening dinner at Quay West.

Participants traveled from Duncan, Comox, Courtenay, Port Alberni, Nanaimo, Victoria, Delta, Richmond and Chilliwack.
