Aaron Volpatti was sent down to the minors Thursday after almost two months with the Vancouver Canucks of the NHL.
Volpatti, a Revelstoke native, was called up to the NHL about a week before Christmas. In 15 games with the Canucks, he had 1 goal, 1 assist, 16 penalty minutes, 36 hits and was -1.
Volpatti will return to the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League, where he started the season.
Volpatti’s stint in the NHL is the longest ever by a Revelstoke native.
