The Abbotsford Panthers senior boys soccer team is the Fraser Valley champions.
The team earned the banner with a 2-0 win over the L.A. Matheson Mustangs in South Surrey earlier today.
Marley Edwards opened the scoring early for the Panthers, but shortly thereafter a red card saw the team down to just 10 men on the pitch.
Harjen Sidhu then connected with a header off a corner kick before the first half was over to make it a 2-0 game.
The second half saw the Panthers continue to play with just 10 men, but hang on for the 2-0 win.

The victory means Abbotsford will head into the provincials ranked first in the Fraser Valley, and have an easier path to go deep in that tournament.
The provincials run from Nov. 22 to 24.
