Abbotsford Senior Secondary School student Priya Alamwala has committed to the Columbia Bible College Bearcats women’s basketball program.
The Grade 12 student made the announcement on social media last week.
Alamwala was a part of the 2020 AAA senior girls provincial champion Panthers team and the 5-9 forward will join the Abbotsford-based Bearcats this fall. She will be enrolling in the school’s general studies program. Alamwala was also a competitive figure skater in her younger years.

The Bearcats last competed in the 2019-20 Pacwest season and failed to win a game. The Pacwest regular season is set to tip-off in November.
