More than 60 players entered the Men’s Club Twin Travel and Cruises Scramble on May 26.
Not only did Vic Carlton win closest to the pin on No.17 but he came within 2 “ of a trip to Greece.
The winning team was Ken Fong, Dave Swain and Gord Unger. Second place went to Jaques Giovetti, Don McGowan and Henry Chretien. In third place was the team of Matt Mesic, Glen Trask and Mel Trelvic. Fourth place was won by Sam Parhar, Darrell Van Os Vic Carlton and Trevor Cripps. Jim Rhodes, John Panagrot, Cliff O’laney and Ed Westra, fifth place.
Closest to the pin on No. 2 was Fred Fredrickson. The Charity pin was No. 4 with Mel Trelvic collecting $43. Bob Turner was closest on No. 13 and of course Vic Carlton on No. 17. Trevor Konchuck was closest with his second shot on No. 11. Ken Fong won the long drive on No. 5.
June 3 is an open day with the option of playing in the Toombstone event. There is a $5 entry fee for the event and it will be played from the blue tees.
There will also be the usual money pot, charity closest to the pin and hidden hole.
