The Alberni nine- and 18-hole ladies played a nine-hole scramble on July 19.  A good time was had by all.

Everyone drove the ball then we all had a roll of the dice— the highest number was the drive we were to use with no consecutive shots.

The winning team with a score of 38 was Gayle Calli, Leona Fowler, Lee Anne Van Lent and Nancy Blair, winning a ball each.

There was a tie for the high scoring team of Pat Dahlquist,  Gwyn Bowen, Kelly Gauthier, Gail Sander, Marta Williamson, Janice Cross, Marion Dyck and their ghost player, La Donna Knutson.

For our ball sweep we kept track of balls going in the sand, water, trees and out of bounds for each group.

The team that won with the least amount of hazards was made up pf Marta Williamson, Janice Cross, Marion Dyck and La Donna Knutson.

Having the most balls in the hazards was the team of Julie Swaney, Gayle Rhodes, B-Jay Harper and Jean Illman.

All winners received a ball each.

After our adventurous time on the golf course we  had a social time enjoying coffee and muffins as well as each others’ company.
