The first game tips off at 3 p.m. Saturday featuring the junior girls. At 4:30, the junior boys will be on display right before the senior girls take the floor at 6 p.m.. The main event will be the senior boys game at 8 p.m.

There have been several graduates of this game to go on to play in the CIS, NCAA and the NBA.
Not too long ago, Kamloops’ Kelly Olynyk was featured in the game. He played in 2009 before heading to Gonzaga en route to the NBA.
Olynyk was a first-round pick by the Dallas Mavericks, and now plays for the Boston Celtics. UBCO Heat’s women’s coach Heather Semeniuk is the driving force behind the all-star event.
“The all-star game is worth every minute of time we put into it. It all goes into celebrating a group of people that deserve to showcase their efforts on the court,” said Semeniuk.
