Ashcroft hosts Okanagan Valley basketball finals

The Sr. Girls Rams basketball team from Ashcroft Secondary will host the Okanagan Valley Finals on Feb. 26-28.

The Sr. Girls Rams basketball team from Ashcroft Secondary School has been on a winning rampage!

The close knit group of girls have been working hard and winning games and are currently ranked at fourth in the province! The Rams’ season began in November and now after more than 20 games played, they are in their last month of play. The Rams are doing their best to win their way through the zone finals, then on to the Okanagan Valley Finals and finally to the Provincial Championships.

Last week the Rams finished first in the zone finals which won them the right to host the Okanagan Valley Finals. The Okanagan Valley Finals is an eight team tournament including the best in the Okanagan Valley. The tournament will take place at Ashcroft Secondary School, Feb. 26-28.
