Two pairs of local siblings had gold-medal performances during the B.C. Junior Curling Championships in Kamloops on Sunday.
North Delta sisters Sarah and Megan Daniels helped lead the Royal City Curling Club to victory on the junior women’s side, while Cloverdale brothers Tyler and Jordan Tardi won the junior men’s title with their Langley Curling Club/Royal City team.
Tyler and Sarah are skips for their respective teams, both of which include curlers from other areas of the province.

Daniels’ team won the women’s title with a 11-3 win over Corryn Brown’s Kamloops Curling Club team.
Later Sunday afternoon, Tardi’s team beat Matthew McCrady’s rink by a score of 8-3.
Both of the winning teams will now travel to Stratford, Ontario, later this month for the 2016 Canadian Junior Curling Championships. The winners of that event will go to the World Junior Curling Championships in Turkey.
At the tournament in Kamloops, Surrey’s Sarah Loken skipped Delta Thistle Curling Club to a bronze medal in women’s action, with fellow Surrey-based curler Kyle Karoway as second on the team.
Also of note, Tardi’s team (PICTURED) earned a berth into the BC Men’s Championship in Nelson from Feb. 10 to 14.
