B.C. male hockey team takes sixth at Canada Winter Games

Loss to Nova Scotia puts Team B.C.'s male hockey team in sixth

B.C.’s men’s team finished sixth at the Canada Winter Games in Prince George. B.C. after losing the fifth place game 3-2 against Nova Scotia on Feb. 28.

The team finished with a 2-4 record. Okanagan Hockey Academy and Penticton Vees affiliate player Jordan Bellerive led the squad with four goals and seven points.

Other OHA members were Penticton’s Ethan O’Rourke (two assists in six games), Jordan Hollett (two wins, two losses), Griffin Mendel, Scott Walford (three assists), Michael Rasmussen (goal, one assist), Jordan Robinson (goal, one assist), Brendan Semchuk (two goals, two assists) and Chase Stevenson (two goals, one assist).
