The Courtenay Valley Badminton Club starts up on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. at Lake Trail as of Sept. 26.
The club has been in existence more than 75 years and hopes to continue for another 75 years.
Many players have won trophies in tournaments over the years. The club has an outstanding player in Daryl Bissell who besides winning three gold medals at the B.C. Seniors Games also captured a gold in men’s doubles and silver in his age bracket (70-75) at the World Master Championship.
The club welcomes back all players and encourages new members to join.
