The final Thrash Wrestling card of 2014 promises some entertaining matchups when the bell rings Friday (8 p.m.) at the Schubert Centre.

The event will feature the return of women’s wrestling as Surrey’s Sam (Bambi) Hall takes on Violet Affect in which should be a tremendous match.

A second-generation wrestler – her mother Thereasa fights under the moniker Raven Lake – Bambi picked up her first women’s championship in January 2012.  She was Pro Wrestling Illustrated’s runner up for Rookie of the Year in 2012 and ranked No. 46 in the top 50 women’s wrestlers.

Hall became All Star Wrestling’s women’s champ by beating KC Spinelli and Riea Von Slasher in a triple-threat match.

In Friday’s main event, Thrash tag team champions (Cougar Meat) Kyle Sebastian and Collin Cutler will defend their title against (Hurricane) Adam Ryder and Matt Xstatic. These four have battled in some epic feuds across Western Canada of late.

Lumby’s Slave will take on former partner Michael More for the Thrash championship. The card also features Japan’s The Great Kasaki and Black Dragon.

Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the door. They can be purchased in Vernon at the Schubert Centre, Ebenezer’s and Downtown Internet Lounge; at Bogart’s in Armstrong; at Tony O’s Outfitter in Enderby; Leo’s Videos in Kelowna; and the Snac Shac in Lumby.
