Kitimat won the Penticton Minor Hockey Association bantam Tier 3 tournament over the weekend.

This weekend the Penticton Minor Hockey Association is hosting a 14-team tournament featuring two Penticton teams, as well as Salmon Arm, Surrey, Squamish, Port Moody, Kamloops, South Okanagan, Castlegar, Burnaby, Kelowna, Moses Lake, Semiahmoo and Coquitlam. Penticton 2 kicks off the tourney with a 1:15 p.m. game on Friday at the SOEC.

Below, ANDREW ROLSTON in goal for the Bantam Junior Vees, smoothly deflects a shot during a tournament match against the Yellowknife Wolfpack Saturday, finishing 2-2. The Vees opened with a 3-2 win over Winfield, then defeated Kitimat 6-1 and lost to Kitimat 5-1 on Sunday.
