The Vernon Tier 2 Vipers spread out the scoring for a 7-4 win over the Kelowna Tier 3 Rockets in Bantam Rep hockey play Friday night at Civic Arena.
Vernon trailed 2-0 after five minutes, but rallied with five unanswered goals to take firm control of the game.
The Snakes got scoring from seven different skaters, singles going to Cory Lazar, Tanner Wright, Gavin Fleck, Ethan Joe, Bryan Brew, Nick Mitchell and Griffin Evans.
Joe picked up a pair of assists, while Lazar, Lincoln Connor and Fleck each added one.
Kelowna replied with offence from Tristan Bishop, Kyle Porritt, Evan Worthing and Riley Green.
Meanwhile, the Thompson Okanagan Lakers bowed 3-1 to the West Coast Avalanche in Female Midget AAA play Friday in Surrey.
Scoreless after 20 minutes, the Lakers fell behind on a pair of powerplay goals in the second frame.
The Thompson Okanagan crew responded with a solid third period, drawing to within a goal on a Jenna Fletcher snipe, scoring on an unassisted solo effort.
The Avalanche iced the game with an empty netter.
