The Vernon Machine Vipers tied South Delta 2-2 and bowed 7-1 to Triport at the Victoria Midget Tier 3 Hockey Tournament Friday.
Austin Derkach, off an assist by Colton Skead, scored in the loss. Austin Dixon, from Richard Thompson, and Thompson from Bryton Stead and Josh DeCoffe, handled the offence versus South Delta.
The Vipers took in the Victoria Royals-Red Deer game Saturday.
