Left - Hector Denton, Skip, with Jack Livingstone and Linda and Pete Verhoeven earned bronze for the 4’s. Zone 8 scored 5th in overall medals this year - a drop from last year in Kamloops when we were 2nd.  Still, there are 12 zones so we did well. Right - The team of Ernie Yungen, Skip, and Louis and Anke Zijderveld, representing Zone 8, won all their games in Langley, against the best in the province, to bring home the Gold Medal for Carpet Bowling in the 3’s. Next year the 55+ Games are in North Vancouver.  There are a multitude of events.  You don’t have to carpet bowl to participate!
