BCHL creates interactive map to track alums in the NCAA

If you want to see which Chilliwack Chiefs grads went where, this tool is for you

If you like to track which Chilliwack Chiefs grads have gone where, the BCHL has a new tool for you.

The junior A league has created an interactive map that shows the location of each and every NCAA Div 1 hockey school in the United States — from Arizona State’s Sun Devils to the Alaska Nanooks, from the Alabama-Birmingham Blazers to the Maine Black Bears.

The map, which can be found online at bchl.ca/ncaa-interactive-map shows the logos of the NCAA programs. Click on a logo to get the name of the school, current BCHL alums playing for the school and notable BCHL alums who played there in the past.

Alternatively, a menu at the top of the map allows users to filter through BCHL teams, college programs or through a list of player names.

The BCHL said changes will be made throughout the year when new players commit, when alumni graduate college or when they change professional teams.
