The players are part of the Belmont secondary school senior girls soccer team playing in the provincials for the first time in almost a decade. The team plays twice on Thursday (May 31) and again on Friday (June 1).

Belmont went 1-2 in the round robin, beating South Delta but losing to Kitsilano and Mt. Bourcherie, which ended up placing second overall.
Belmont lost to Claremont in the playoff crossover game and took South Kamloops to overtime before coming up short.
