Big results for Big Horns

South Kootenay boys squad goes on a tear, next stop – provincials in the Lower Mainland

The Kootenay South Youth Soccer Association U14 Boys Select Soccer Team, the ‘Big Horns” has just returned from Kootenay/Columbia Playdown Competition in Creston June 9,10.. The U14 team lost out last year in a shootout with Nelson, who went on to come second overall in the Provincials of 2011.

This year the Big Horns returned, dominating the competition, beating out the nemesis team Nelson 5-2. Cranbrook was the second team to be conquered by The Big Horns 4-1.
