Members of the Big White Racers competed at five major ski events over the last two weekends and posted the following results:
• FIS U18 Keurig Cup, March 7 to 10 @ Red Mountain, GS and slalom
Women’s GS—Meg Cumming 12th and 4th; Olivia Baldassare 62nd and 37th.
Women’s SL—Meg Cumming 1st and 1st; Olivia Baldassare 37th and 37th
Men’s SL—Ryan Moffat 25th; Simon Bernard 34th.
Men’s GS—Ryan Moffat 3rd and 3rd.
• Fidelity U16 Can Ams , March 12 to 14 @ Apex, SG, GS and slalom combined
Women’s Super G—Brooke Lukinuk 9th and 5th; and Gillian Callaghan 34th
Men’s Super G—Zane Torres 6th and 18th
Women’s SL—Brooke Lukinuk 13th
Women’s GS—Brooke Lukinuk 12th
Men’s Slalom—Zane Torres 11th
With consistent Can Am results Lukinuk, 15, earned an overall seventh place finish for the four-day event and was named to Team B.C where she will compete at the 23rd Annual Whistler Cup April 3 to 5.
