Bighorn Archery Club draws record number of archers

Good time had by all at annual Indoor A&W Shoot in 100 Mile House

The 100 Mile Bighorn Archery Club hosted the annual Indoor 3D A&W Shoot at the old Stan Halcro Arena in 100 Mile House on March 19-20. Local archers, as well as archers from around the province, attended this two-day event.

The 100 Mile Bighorn Archery Club had a record turnout for its annual Indoor A&W 3D Shoot at the Stan Halcro Arena on March 19-20.

Ninety-one archers, ranging in age from seven to seniors, attended from Williams Lake, Quesnel, Vanderhoof, Merritt, Port Coquitlam, the Okanagan and from 70 Mile House to Lac la Hache.

“The shoot was a great success and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time,” says Bighorn Archery Club secretary denise swift.

Now, we are looking forward to our outdoor shoot at the 100 Mile Snowmobile Club’s trails at the top of Ainsworth Road on June 4-5, she adds.
