Black Sheep postpone Cowichan Cup rugby game vs. Velox

The Cowichan Cup rugby match scheduled for Oct. 4 2014) in Port Alberni has been postponed.

The Port Alberni Black Sheep will have to wait for another day to face the Velox Valhallians in Cowichan Cup rugby action. Their game, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 4 (2014) has been postponed.

The Black Sheep will instead hold a game situation training at the rugby pitch at the top of Argyle Street from 12:30 p.m. to 2:15 p.m.

The rugby club is recruiting new members: this year they only have the Div. 1 men’s team playing, where in previous years they have fielded Div. 1 and 3 men’s teams, a women’s team and both junior men’s and women’s teams.

The Black Sheep practice Tuesday and Thursday nights from 6:30–8:15 p.m. Neil Shipley from Time to Train engages players in fitness training as well.
