Brodt tossed a one-hit shutout and struck out eight on Sunday morning at Elks Stadium, as the A’s blanked the Jays 9-0.

Dylan Faulkner paced the offence with three RBIs, while James Fischer had a pair of runs batted in.

On Saturday, North Delta beat the Jays 7-5 in the series opener. McCoy Pearce and Brendan Coulter each had two RBI for the Athletics.

In Game 2, Pearce had two of Okanagan’s five hits in a 9-2 loss.

The series finale on Sunday saw the Jays score twice in the sixth inning to overtake the A’s for a 4-3 win.

The Athletics resume their homestand this weekend with a four-game series against the Langley Blaze.

The teams will meet for a pair of doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday at Elks.
