The Gators took a bite out of their first opponents at the B.C. High School Basketball Championships, being held this week at the Langley Events Centre.
The Walnut Grove Secondary team beat Mount Baker by 116-34 Wednesday morning.
The tournament, a follow-up to the girls tournament that took place last week, runs until Saturday at the LEC.
