ACTIVITY AT THE shotgun venue of the Courtenay Fish and Game Club is in full swing this summer with trap, skeet, five-stand and sporting clays.  There has been a significant upswing in interest, especially in trap shooting, by a wide ranging age group of new shooters.  On June 6, Brittany Larson, 20, achieved a score of 25 straight in trap shooting. This level of performance usually takes at least a few years to reach.  Brittany just started shooting in March.
