The Burns Lake Lakers faced the Bulkley Valley Christian School Royals senior girls basketball team last week in the Smithers Secondary gym, in a game to decide which team would pick up a wild card spot in the A level provincial tournament. Although both teams fought to the bitter end, the Lakers won by three points, moving on to provincials this weekend.
