The 100 Mile House & District Hockey Association was busy last week with several home games played in both house and rep divisions.

All of the action was at the South Cariboo Rec. Centre, including a Nov. 5 game between the 100 Mile Mayvin Miler Bantams and visiting Clearwater Bantam Hawks house teams.

Lynden Jeffrey scored the final Miler’s goal halfway through the second period to even the score at 3-3, but then Clearwater went on a runaway and netted four unanswered marker for a 7-3 win.

100 Mile House assists came from Derek Popadinac and Lucille Paul.

Another matchup on Nov. 5 saw 100 Mile House Sunrise Ford Mustangs Peewee Reps take on the Williams Lake Atom Development team in a 9-5, penalty-free Williams Lake victory.

The visitors dominated the first period, scoring five unanswered goals before 100 Mile got on the scoreboard with a marker from Trevor Moore early in the second period. The Mustangs came around in the third period with a hat trick from Luke Jewitt and a single from Brandon Balbirnie.

The Mustangs also fell 14-0 to the visiting Clearwater Warriors.
