Cariboo Gardens Apartments in 100 Mile House has recently stepped up as a major sponsor for a car built and currently being driven by Barry Clayton of Vernon in the ARCA OK Tire Sportsman oval stock car racing series.
Apartment owners Georgette Clayton and Tom Hibbert were given a thrill recently when the car rolled up to the building long enough for a few photos.
The car raced in late May at Thunder Mountain Speedway in Williams Lake, completing 100 laps and heads to Prince George, June 16, for another series race.
Drew Moss of 100 Mile House will be part of the pit crew.
