Ten teams, four from Prince George, two from Williams Lake and four from Quesnel took over the indoor QYSA facility to jump start the soccer season. There were a total of 19 games over the two days, with about 150 players, male and female aged 8–12 taking part. With friendly, but intensely competitive games, it was an excellent opportunity to give players an idea of REP level of play. Comments for Williams Lake and Prince George were all positive, particularly as this was a great opportunity to break up the winter. Quesnel Youth Soccer will host the European Football School March 8–10 (open to all players, register with QYSA). REP team tryouts / training starts March 25, watch the Quesnel Youth Soccer Association website for details. Quesnel will also be holding the Third Annual Goldpan Indoor Tournament April 19–21.
