The home team scored one in the first period, and followed up with three in the second period, prior to Shayne Woodland getting one for the Heat. The Rebels then put in two more behind Mattes (who stopped 38 of 44 shots) for a 6-1 victory.

On Sunday the Heat headed up Highway 3A to Nelson, where they faced off against the Leafs in an afternoon contest. No game summary was available at press time but the Leafs walked away with a 7-0 victory.
